How To Clean Coffee Stains From Stainless Steel Thermos
We received the following alphabetic character from one of our customers, Alan Dujenski, in Woodinville, WA, and that it was worth sharing:
"Equal to my unending love of java (and Pringles) is my dislike of coffee stains, especially in a coffee thermos or java pot! Being that I make coffee each morn and often take information technology to work in a thermos as 1 of my tried and true ways to salvage money, information technology is important to know how to clean coffee stains from a thermos or pot.
"Sometimes, less is more than. In this instance, I could non agree more fully. So, instead of list numerous means to remove the coffee stains from each of these items, I will provide only one technique – simply an constructive i at that.
"To remove coffee stains from a stainless steel thermos, you will demand:

- one bottle of hydrogen peroxide
- i box of baking soda
"In a small bowl, mix ane/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide with two tablespoons of baking soda. No demand for plastic goggles for this experiment! Merely stir and pour into your stained stainless steel thermos.
"Requite it a shake and let sit for xxx minutes. This should easily remove the stains from the lesser of the thermos. Rinse with hot water. If necessary, echo.
"Viola! You lot will take a like-new super shiny stainless steel thermos."
We are looking frontward to trying Alan's cleaning method out on our old coffee pot at dwelling house. It could work on any glass or stainless steel thermal server, airpot, travel mug, or coffee pot.
